Di entered the profession of psychology as a mature age student, after earlier careers as a primary school teacher and office manager.   She began her studies at Monash in Melbourne and completed her training with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, WA, in 2002.  She has worked in various community health centres, community justice and employee assistance programs, and now works two days a week in private practice at Central Psychology Services.  Her experience of other careers and living in different places helps in understanding clients’ situations and dilemmas.

Di has a broad range of professional interests including relationships, workplace issues, career and vocational counselling, managing change, sleep, and health issues.  She uses a variety of approaches to work with clients.  When not at work she enjoys bush walking, music and family time.
