Carolyn Richer
BSc., BA (Hons), M. Psych. and Couns. (MAPS)

Carolyn has worked for a number of years as a Psychologist in Government, Community, Medical and Private Enterprise settings. She is a registered Psychologist in South Australia and Queensland, and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Carolyn is also registered with WorkCover and Medicare.

She has worked with individuals, couples, families and young people in a variety of areas, including, anxiety, depression, panic, stress, drug and alcohol dependence, post traumatic stress, gambling, phobias, domestic and family violence, conflict, loss and grief, anger management and areas of occupational health and safety.

Carolyn has experience in a range of Psychometric Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Medico-legal Reports, Employee Assistance Programs, and Critical Incident Debriefing.

Carolyn has worked with young people aged 12-25 years of age at risk of homelessness and/or sexual abuse. She has also worked with Veterans, partners and children of Veterans. Her work has also included working with individuals who have been long term unemployed.

Carolyn has a special interest in the area of Body Image and particularly in Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
