Central Psychology Services is an established and boutique practice in the center of Adelaide, providing quality mental health support, counselling, therapy and coaching. At CPS we pride ourselves on the variety of work we do - and the experience that offers us we’re working to support people. While we’re we’re equipped to help with most mental health challenges, our psychologist continue to grow and learn in their areas of expertise, so that we can aspire to offer expert guidance to the people we see.
Helping the helpers - and our community
Adult mental health is our ‘bread and butter’ and we love helping people from all works of life improve their wellbeing, from injured workers to professionals experiencing burnout. We also have a strong interest in supporting the mental health of those who serve others: healthcare workers, first responders (red, white or blue), veterans, support workers and people in high stress occupations.

Who We Support
GP / Mental Health Care Plan Referrals
With a referral from your GP, you can access 10 psychology appointments each year subsided through Medicare.
Department of Veterans Affairs
At Central Psychology, we have a long track record of servicing the veteran community, as well as our work with activity-duty ADF personnel. If you are a DVA white or gold card holder, we can provide you with fully funded mental health support today.
Return to Work South Australia / Workcover
Injuries at work can affect even those who that least expect it. Whether you’ve experienced a physical or psychological injury at work, our psychologists can help you get back on track. We have experience in people navigate the ups and downs of the return to work process and WorkCover system.
National Disability Insurance Scheme
We offer psychology support to Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS participants.
Private Health
Many private health funds offer rebates for psychology appointments. If you have Psychology Cover through your insurance extras, you can receive a rebate for your psychology appointments today.
Employment Assistance Program
Central Psychology Services offer free, confidential EAP counselling for business that have registered for us. If we support your organisation, you can contact us today for an appointment. If you your organisation wishes to offer support your employees, you can contact us to inquire about our services.
Self-Funded / Private Payment
Did you know that you don’t need a referral to see a Psychologist? If you simply wish to speak to someone to improve your wellbeing, you can call and book an appointment with us at any time.
